Dear Parents,

It has been a really exciting and busy summer here at the Academy of Little Learners.  The carnival was a huge success!  One of the highlights was the pie-in-the face.  Ms. Rachel was a great sport!  Parents (and kids) enjoyed the ice cream for our Mother’s Day/Father’s Day combination activity.  The bake sale sponsored by the toddler II’s was a great learning experience for them and the rest of us benefited with the scrumptious treats!

As we approach fall, we wanted to let you know that we are going to be participating in the RAVE project sponsored by the Kentucky Department of Nutrition and Health Services.  RAVE stands for Race for Activity with Veggies and Fruits for Everyone.  The project will be begin with the preschool children in October.  It is designed to include nutrition education and physical activities.  Snacks will include one fruit or one vegetable along with one of the other four required snack components (milk, protein, bread, fruit/veggie).  More information will follow.

For your planning purposes, we want to inform you that tuition rates will be changing for the upcoming year.  Tuition changes will go into effect on September 1, 2008.  We have enclosed a new tuition rate schedule for your convenience.
