Academy of Little Learners will provide nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks for children eating table food.  If a child is present during the scheduled meal or snack times, he or she will be served.  Weekly menus are prepared in advance and posted on all parent boards.  Please do not send junk food (including cookies, candy/gum, potato chips, and soda) with your child, as it will create problems with our nutritional plans.  Parents of children with special dietary needs must provide the special foods the child needs, as well as a doctor's note explaining the food allergy

The Academy of Little Learners participates in the federal food program.  All of the meals served meet the guidelines outlined by this federal program.  In the event that you encounter any problem with the food program, please see our informational board in the lobby for further instruction.

Parents of bottle fed children need to provide their own formula, breast milk, or juice in prepared bottles with caps and labeled with your child's name.  Parents of children eating baby food need to provide their own food with portion instructions.  Please be sure to provide ample bottles or food for your child's day.

Birthdays are special events in the life of a child.  If you would like to provide a birthday treat for each child in your child's class, you are welcome to do so.  Please make arrangements ahead of time with your child's teacher to discuss scheduling and restrictions (if one of the children has food allergies, or example.)
